Croatia is introducing the Euro

It has been certain for a while now: on January 1st, 2023 the Croatian kuna will be replaced by the euro. This will simplify some processes in the real estate market, because real estate prices are usually given in euros already, but previously had to be converted into the Croatian currency Kuna for payment. So, in the future, exchange rates will no longer play a role in this. Th change of currency is generally expected to result in a new upturn in the real estate market. Bank accounts previously held in kuna will be automatically converted to the new currency on January 1st, 2023. The exchange rate for this has already been set: 1 euro is equal to 7.53450 kuna.
